Once apon a time .... when Nate and I were still cute, our Uncle Wendell gave us each a John Deer 520 Pedal Tractor as a gift. I think we were about 2 years old. Over the years we rode the paint and tires right off them. Mom and Dad kept them set aside for us when we outgrew them even though they were in really bad shape after enduring all the miles that 5 kids put on them. Dad was cleaning out his shop and dug them out and I decided to restore them. It was a fun project and brought back lots of memories! When we went out to WY a few weeks ago, I surprised Nate with his restored tractor. It was a big hit with Chet and Avery!
