Avery is helping...

While Mommy, Daddy, and Isaac were at the hospital Avery helped Grandma make some fruit salad. Some fruit even made it into the bowl...

For those of you wondering about more details, Isaac came to us via c-section after hours of unsuccessful pushing. He was just to big...(thanks to Dr. Gibbens for making wise decisions). April lost about twice the blood of a normal c-section, but is doing great. They pumped her full of fluids to help rebuild blood supply, but today she is totally free of all the IV cords and other accessories. They say we can go home Friday or Saturday. Isaac continues to do well - he's a cuddler!

Avery is taking it all in stride so far....her "queen of the castle" days are over, but she doesn't really know it yet.

In the meantime, we have great nurses and dr's to hang out with. They are taking good care of us.

Been a while - I'm trying to do a little catch up with posts below. I have not taken many pictures lately, so will resolve that.

I did a little change to the look and feel of the blog....coming soon a newer better blog (theoretically) I've been playing with WordPress on my own server and may end up switching to that.
Zoo trip with Gpa, Gma & Aunt Emily. Avery enjoys the animals and thought the goats in the petting zoo were pretty neat.

We built a box blind recently. This baby is portable via the skids and has 6 flip up shooting portals, carpet, propane heater, etc. It's as ugly as a mud fence, but is functional. No....It doesn't have a flush toilet or walk in closet, but it should be pretty comfortable for those late December muzzleloader hunts.

Avery had to try it out and go bear hunting with the toy rifle Nate and Ralna brought her. Teddy Bear met an unfortunate demise and was stuffed. It looked so fun April couldn't resist giving it a whirl either.

The blind now resides in the venison honey hole. Here bucky bucky...I'm feeling lucky.

My apologies - I've missed a lot of photo opportunities lately. We had the crew of family here to kick off our basement project. We got it all framed in while they were here. Ralna got some pics though and you some of them in this gallery of theirs. http://picasaweb.google.com/nateandralna/April2009#

I'm linking a few more pics from Nate and Ralna's site - Nate tagged this kitty in March.
